Miss Barbados World 2004, Kennifer Marius

The beautiful, Kennifer Marius, created havoc when she won the Miss Barbados World Pageant in 2004, capturing award in almost every-single category! Kennifer later went on to do Barbados proud, as she placed third in the Talent Competition, behind Antigua and Barbuda, and China.

Miss Barbados World 2010, Danielle Bishop

The confident, well-spoken, Danielle Bishop, was crowned Miss Barbados World in 2010. She continued on to represent Barbados at the Miss World Pageant held at the Crowne Plaza, Sanya, China of that year.

On September 29th 2010, Danielle was ranked number ten, in the top ten choices to win the People's Choice at Miss World.

Danielle was undubitably, a stellar ambassador for Barbados. Her dedication to continue the history of our passed queens, greatly inspired her to acheive the best for her island, Barbados.

Miss Barbados World 2009, Leah Marville

Leah Marville, internationally hailed as the "most recognised delegate" in the histroy of Miss Barbados World, truly made her country proud when she was touted as "the most-likely to win" the 2009 Miss World crown in Johannesburg, South Africa.

For consecutive weeks, Leah was ranked top five in the most-likely winners. Over three consecutive weeks, Leah was listed as the world's number one favourite to win the title Miss World on Missosology.com.

She proved to everyone that she was not only a hype but also - a real performer, when she landed in the top twenty-two in Talent and top twelve in Beach Beauty and Top Model fast track competitions. She also went on to place second in the Beauty With a Purpose finals - Miss World's most prestigious award - for her success with The Love Campaign.

Although the nation was shocked when she was excluded from the top sixteen finalists. Leah - not to be out done - still managed to snag the award for Continental Queen of the Caribbean and the People's Choice awards.

Miss Barbados World 2008, Natalie Griffith

​The artful songstress, Natalie Griffith, is truly deserving of her title "Most Talented Woman in the World!"

For her HIV/AIDS Campaign, Natalie created an audio book - "Learning About A Day In the Life" -  an educational interactive audio book CD on HIV/AIDS Awareness. The HIV/AIDS teaching tool is currently used across the twenty-one secondary schools in Barbados.

Upon leaving our golden shores for South Arfica, the poised, creative belle shone through nineteen other contestants to take the Miss World Top Talent award at the 2008 contest. Miss World officials affirmed that Miss Barbados "gave the performance of her life" - they were absolutely blown away by her stellar rendition of "Don't Rain On My Parade."

Natalie did the nation proud as she flew the Barbadian flag of pageantry high by her win & placement in the final top fifteen at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Miss Barbados World 2006, Latoya McDowald

Latoya McDowald competed at Miss World in September 2006, after claiming the coveted title of "Miss Barbados World" in her native island. At the competition held in Poland, Latoya was named among the top ten in Talent and Evening Wear segments.

Her accomplishment marked a historic break through in Miss Barbados World records, as she became the first representative from Barbados to qualify for the Miss World top twenty Beach Wear Final!

Miss Barbados World 2003, Raquel Wilkinson

Raquel's rise from beautiful, popular Barbadian socialite, to outstanding Miss Barbados World representative led to major buzz around the pageant in 2003.

She has a history of victory and success, as she was also crowned Miss Holetown in 1998 and Miss Banks Calendar Girl in 2002. To date, Raquel continues to give back to her island and Caribbean communities through her experience in modeling and pageantry.

Miss Barbados World 2005, Marielle Onyeche

Marielle will forever have her name etched in Miss World and Miss Barbados World's chronicles as being the first ever dread-locked beauty to compete in national and international  pageantry. During her reign and representation at the Miss World Competition, Marielle was astutely  known as "the Bajan with legs to-die-for!"

Crown, Diamonds, Winner

Miss Barbados World 2002, Natalie Webb-Howell

Bajan beauty, Natalie Webb-Howell, since her win in 2002, has continued to compete in beauty pageants across the region - proving herself to be an exceptional Barbadian woman. She has been crowned Miss Caribbean Bikini International and Miss Banks Calendar Girl. Natalie is said to have one of the best bodies in the Caribbean.

Miss Barbados World 2001 - Stephanie Yates née Chase

Stephanie, Miss Barbados World 2001, won the first inaugural Miss World Talent Award. This led to her receiving a five-year contract from AMI/ SONY CEO Eliot Cohen.  Stephanie, an a advocate of women's and children's rights - has since then - launched a crusade aimed at enlightening people about the impact of HIV/AIDS discrimination. She truly lives by the motto, "beauty with a purpose!"


Stephanie held the Miss Barbados World franchise from 2004 to 2010.

Miss Barbados World 2011, Taisha Carrington

Barbados' 2011 ambassador, Taisha Carrington, wowed the judges at the Miss World Competition in London with her creative, artistic dance abilities. Her skilled landed her the top 12th spot at the 2011 Talent Competition. She also placed in the prestigious Beauty With a Purpose and Top Model finals that year.

Taisha was the first Miss Barbados World delegate to be crowned under the Leah Marville-led franchise.

Miss Barbados World 2012, Marielle Wilkie

Marielle Wilkie, Miss Barbados World 2012, represented the island at the Inner Mongolia, China Miss World Pageant. 

She was named as a semi-finalist in the Miss World Traditional Dance, after performing her “Mother Sally” routine for the judges. She also made it through to the second round of the Miss World Talent competition
