The Experience
​​For 2013, the Miss Barbados World Organisation will host four events including:
- The Capita Financial Miss Barbados World Masquerade Ball :: April 27th 2013

- The Crossfit Islandfit Miss Barbados World Bikini Pre-Judging Competition :: May 25th 2013
- Fitness Pre-Judging Competition :: June 13th 2013

- Grand Coronation Night :: July 14th 2013

The newly crowned Miss Barbados World will represent Barbados at Miss World in Indonesia in September 2013, which has viewership of over 2.3 billion people! She will also be fortunate to work closely with title sponsors, in their own efforts to lend a hand in our communities.

The Miss World Pageant has a resilient reputation in the pageantry arena, as being the oldest pageant in the world. It is said to be the crème de la crème of beauty pageants and is internationally known for its avid participation in children's charities around the globe. Alongside its rivals Miss Universe and Miss Earth, Miss World possesses the title of the most publicised beauty contest in the world.
The pageant was fashioned in 1951 in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley, however Morley died as the pageant entered the new century. His wife, Julia, succeeded as chairwoman of the Miss World Organization.
The marvelous lady crowned "Miss World" spends a year travelling to represent the Miss World Organization and its various causes and charities across the globe.
Each year, beautiful Misses from over one hundred participating countries around the world vie for the opportunity to become the next Miss World.
